SANTA CLARA, CA., June 15, 2005 –FileMaker Pro 7, the #1-selling easy-to-use database software, was honored by PC World with a 2005 World Class Award for  Best Database.  The World Class Award winners were announced in the July 2005 issue of PC World (online now and on newsstands).

First launched in March 2004, FileMaker Pro 7 was the most acclaimed database for individuals and workgroups in 2004, garnering more than 25 awards and top-rated reviews, including an Editor’s Choice award from PC World.  FileMaker Pro 7 won more awards in 2004 than the combined total won by seven other workgroup databases.

Celebrating its 23rd year, the respected World Class Awards honor products that meld practical features with innovation and reflect the rapidly changing technology marketplace.
